On Lake Havasu and the Parker Strip the shoreline is federal land managed by the BLM Lake Havasu Field Office, not riparian owners and not simply the state. At Lake Mead it is National Park Service land, and on the California side the State Lands Commission owns the beds of navigable waters.
This is the opposite of lake country up north, where you own your own frontage. On this water almost nobody does, which is why marinas are where most boat lifts go.
The upside for you: we already know which authority controls which stretch of river, so you do not have to chase it down.
What this means for you. Plan around a marina or the managing authority, and let us handle the setup that fits your stretch of water.

Not sure how this applies to you? Tom can talk it through.
